Harry J. Lewis

Lieutenant Colonel Harry J. Lewis
was commandant in early 1948 when he presented this
photo to George
Kotuby. Kotuby recalled, "He was the best
leader I had in my three years with the school. He was always
interested in the instructors and cadre and gently prodded all
to do their best, never any rank pulling. He was there when I
arrived in late 1946 and stayed until we were all moved to Ft
Monmouth in fall of 1948."
