"This picture was taken by Hiroshi Kaku," wrote Jerry Pronovost.  "We were testing out a new portrait lens that I think he had just purchased.  

"This was taken in the barracks photo (still) lab located in the basement.  Hiroshi operated the lab in the evening.  I spent a lot of time there, as did he.

"This was used by the GIs for still photo processing and printing.  Quite an elaborate setup.  I enjoyed my time there."
